Best Wedding Cakes

Top of the Charts! Let’s take a look at our favorites throughout the centuries. OK, maybe not centuries. But you get it.

By the way, these are in no particular order, because I simply can’t choose which is better than the next.

I spent a lot of time navigating through BluPrint, there is just so much amazing content to give you the inspiration you need, and the tools to make it happen. Their classes are amazing as well for cake decorating.

7. The Force is Strong with this one.

The Bride wanted to surprise the Groom with a special cake that would fit his personality perfectly. Her entire wedding was so incredibly beautiful, with the PNW hills in the background, and rose, golds and pale palette that got us all dreamy. But the cake, although purely business on the front, was Dark Side on the back.

6. Nutella for Days

One of our favorite clients requested we make their wedding cake, and we couldn’t be prouder! Now we knew already that this bride would never have enough Nutella, so the frosting of this cake was loaded with the heavenly hazelnut cream. The venue couldn’t be beaten either, at the Newcastle Golf Club, wow.

5. Best Day Ever.

This one was also super special. The bride’s favorite ice cream flavor from Molly Moon in Seattle was the Honey & Lavender, so she was hoping we could create something as close to that as possible. And man… it was the most delicious cake we’ve ever made! The wedding was held at the Pacific Tower, and these guys were so incredibly stunning.

4. Unique is the name of the Game

This couple was amazing. They were quirky, fun, and so in love. We helped plan all the parties around their wedding, and it was so amazing to get to know them! We designed this cake to match their unique and beautiful personalities.

3. Winter Wonderland

The deep burgundy colors of this wedding gave us all the feels! It was a December wedding, and it’s hard to pull off something beautiful during that time in Seattle, I have to admit. It’s dark and gloomy, but the bride and groom brought all the shine on that day!

2. Navy & Gold

This was our all-time favorite wedding. These guys live close to our heart and we watched them grow together from the very beginning of their relationship! I was thrilled to be part of this special day, and was tasked with making a cake that was unique and modern and couture, and I did my absolute best. There was edible gold on the middle layer, and we added rice paper on the bottom layer and created such a different visual.

  1. Whimsical & Romantic

We’ve talked about this one before, but we couldn’t leave out this beauty. One of our favorites, and captured expertly by our favorite local photographer, Patrick Nied.

Hope you enjoyed it!
